KP Hypnotherapy About Me

I first qualified as a hypnotherapist back in 2011. It was following a very difficult time in my life when I had to admit defeat and let my art and gift shop business go. So I was feeling a bit lost at the time but knew I wanted to work with and help people in a holistic way. I trained in numerous therapies such as hypnotherapy, reflexology and massage. Massage seemed to be what people were looking for and it took off very quickly but after several years I realized this wasn't really where I wanted to be so I trained in Reiki, Mindfulness and Meditation which all changed my life and how I viewed the world, it was like an awakening. Then in 2021 whilst scrolling through my Instagram feed I came across a moving post from a lady who had been told by her neurologist that he could not allow her to continue to have hope that she would ever recover from her condition. The lady spoke of Bruce Lipton's book The Biology of Belief and the power of the subconscious mind. It inspired me so much that I knew I had to re-train in hypnotherapy.

So here I am. I have come full circle and loving my work as a hypnotherapist and seeing such quick and powerful changes in my clients who have often been carrying their problems for most of their lives. 

I have also trained in CBT, NLP, Psychotherapy and counselling to support my work as a hypnotherapist and give my clients the quality service they deserve.
